Melt down "Hot Spots" are an easy way to permanently mark asphalt or cement pavement areas. Just melt and go. Markings can last for years or decades depending on traffic. Our 5" x 5" Black, Yellow or White Hot Spots (also known as Bundy Pads) can be used in a variety of applications either for marking pavement or adhering road markers. Our Thermoplastic Hot Spots can be used to on both cement or asphalt surfaces. To install Hot Spots simply heat up clean cement or asphalt to 300 degrees using a roofing or weed burning torch then lay the pad down and continue heating until it is molten. Then just let it cool. A Hot Spot can be installed in a little over a minute. Once installed the markings are permanent and will last for years. They will stand up to virtually any type of traffic. You can mark off areas for pallets in warehouses, parking spaces in lots, create dotted lines for turns, mark off shopping cart areas in parkings lots and much more. You can even lay them out to form arrows, words, numbers or symbols. The pads can also be used to install the raised pavement markers. To install markers follow the same instructions but when the pad is molten simply lay the reflective road marker on top.
